Overview
Central to the hardware management feature of FUYL™ Enhanced is the concept of workflows. Workflows define how users interact with the Smart Locker System, determining conditional access to specific bays and managing device allocation. They allow for tailored control of bay availability and usage conditions, providing flexibility to meet different organisational needs.
- Secure Charging Workflow
Allows authorised users to securely store and charge their devices without waiting or monitoring them in person. - Device Loaning Workflow
Allows authorised users to access a loan device through a self-serve Kiosk. - Device Repairs Workflow
Allows users to securely drop off devices requiring repair, to then be collected, repaired and returned by device administrators.
Managing Workflows in the FUYL Portal
Creating a new workflow
Workflows can be created on the Workflows page in the FUYL Portal by selecting either "Create new", or the workflow type from the New workflow section. For detailed information regarding specific workflows, select a type from above.
Editing an existing workflow
Existing workflows are displayed in the Active workflows section as cards along with key metrics specific to their type and the bays they're assigned to. To edit an active workflow, select the Actions (‧‧‧) icon from the relevant card and choose Edit workflow. For more on specific configuration options, select a workflow type from above.
Deleting an existing workflow
To delete an active workflow, select the Actions (‧‧‧) icon from the relevant card and choose Delete workflow. Workflows cannot be deleted under certain conditions (eg. in use). If this is the case, the administrator will be warned and given directions to proceed (eg. retrieve all devices)
