Replacing the 5-Way PDU (MK2)

Overview

If any of the GPOs inside the FUYL™ Locker bays fail and need to be replaced we have this guide to perform this action

Procedure

  1. Unplug the FUYL Locker from it's power source and allow it to completely dissipate any power (Wait 30s).
  2. Open the side panel of the FUYL Locker
  3. Ensure the 5-way PDU was disconnected from the mains inlet in step 1 and remove the secure sleeve. Undo the Velcro Ties that secure the 5-way PDU’s cable.Picture 1.jpg   
  4. Undo the thumbscrews on the 5-way PDU then slide the 5-way PDU to the left and remove it.Picture 2.jpgPicture 3.jpg
  5. Reverse steps 3 & 4 to install the replacement 5-way PDU.
  6. Ensure all cable routing is neat and secure in the Maintenance Access Panel. Do a mechanical check on the Maintenance Access Panel to ensure it opens and closes easily, locks securely and does not foul or chafe on the cables.
