SD Card Replacement (MK1)

Replacing the SD flash card to install new firmware

Procedure

  1. Switch off power to the FUYL™ Locker. Wait at least 30 seconds before proceeding.
  2. Use access key to open control door.
  3. Looking from above while in front of the door, locate the SD card on the lower control board.
  4. Remove the SD card from the controller with a press / release action, then pull it out from the socket.Picture 1.png
  5. The SD card is located on the edge of the lower board, below the lithium clock battery. Press and release to remove or insert card.   Insert the new SD card (gold contact side up, as above) into the socket and press in until it clicks.
  6. Switch on power to the FUYL Locker. Wait 2-3 minutes while the SD card is prepared and the controller boots.
  7. Perform the diagnostic tests by following the display prompts:
    1. LCD test: If the displayed characters are readable, press OK.
    2. Keypad test: Press each key as prompted.
    3. Door / Lock test: Close all doors as requested. Each door will be unlocked sequentially. As each door opens press OK to confirm.
    4. Admin key test: Rotate the admin keyswitch as prompted.
    5. Nameplate S/N: Enter the last 4 digits of the plate attached to the base of the locker and press OK.
  8. Connect the FUYL Locker LAN cable to a network or laptop and perform the setup / configuration from the Management portal. If the locker has not been previously setup then refer to the FUYL Locker User Manual and Management Portal User Manual for the setup procedure.
