Tools Required
- Torx-Head Screwdriver
- Phillips-Head Screwdriver
- Cable Cutters
- Cable ties
Procedure
- Unplug the FUYL™ Locker from it's power source and allow it to completely dissipate any power (Wait 30s).
- Remove the side panel of the FUYL Locker, to do this you need a torx-head screwdriver bit. There are approximately 20-25 screws, both on the side panel and the front panel. The screws on the front panel will be hidden by the doors of the locker. Once the side panel is removed you will see the Pi power supply, highlighted in the picture below.
- The power supply is held in place via a metal bracket. Remove this using a Phillips head screw driver.
- Cut the cable ties that hold the power supply cable in place. An example can be seen in the picture below, there could be a few cable ties to remove.
- Remove the power brick and the cable leading to the Pi, replace with the new power supply.
- Position the new power supply in the metal retention bracket and fix in place. Attach new cable ties where you removed the old ones.
- Replace the side panel.
You have now successfully replaced the Raspberry Pi power supply.
